10:10         Creating a Culture of Philanthropy
Pam Hearn, CFRE, Chief Development Officer | YMCA of the Jersey Shore
Creating a culture of philanthropy at every level is critical to fundraising success. This includes intentionally educating and engaging members and program participants; full-time, part-time and summer staff; current and former board members; parents, alumni, and affinity groups. Small efforts can begin to create a culture and a Y community that understands the need in making an impact.

Molly Thompson, Chief Strategy Officer, and Kristen Howard, VP of Public Relations & Communications | YMCA of South Hampton Roads
Storytelling is an integral part of donor cultivation and stewardship―engaging and keeping Y donors. Learn how to collect and communicate effective stories to engage members and donors. Storytelling also helps to grow a culture of philanthropy. Learn best practices in developing and telling your best Y story.
